Alito

So Sam Alito Jr. has been nominated for the Supreme Court. Don't know much about him but I really like this quote:
Alito's mother shed some light. "Of course, he's against abortion," 90-year-old Rose Alito said of her son, a Catholic.

Finally

So I have been waiting and waiting for someone to tag me so I could play the archive game. I just about to pull the trigger when she came to the rescue. Thanks Jedno, that was a close one.

Here's how it works:

1. Go into your archives.
2. Find your 23rd post.
3. Post the fifth sentence (or closest to it).
4. Post the text of the sentence in your blog along with these instructions.
5. Tag five other people to do the same thing.

So without further ado, here is what you were waiting for:
His favorite thing to do was lie about his hand, like saying he had a good pair when he had the nut flush. (Taken from "So that's not a bluff", 2/5/05)

Now I have to decide who I can tag that hasn't been tagged already.

Someone...

...please tell Stallone that he is a has-been. Anyone see Driven, or Judge Dredd, or Spy Kids 3-D??

Didn't think so.

This could be the worst sequel ever. oooh! maybe it'll be Rocky vs. Raging Bull (geriatric fight to the death.) I'm sure DeNiro is up to it.

"In Rocky VI, a lonely, poverty-stricken Balboa comes out of retirement and looks to keep his hand in with a few low-profile fights.

But his return to the ring causes a media frenzy and a promoter comes up with the idea that he should fight the heavyweight champion, Mason 'The Line' Dixon."

I bet Rocky is going to get pounded in the beginning of the fight, and then have some absurd comeback to win it with a KO. Maybe Mason is a Muslim extremist, and Rocky will show all the Muslims we will beat them at everything. The Muslims will even start to cheer for him, an infidel.

Stressin

Leaving for Florida and the Bahamas tomorrow morning. I have so much stuff to do. I have to take my midterm at EMT class tonight, before everyone else does, and before the review. I have to finish up research projects at work that needs to be done before I leave. Further, my car is now leaking coolant, and I'm worried about driving to the airport 2 hours away. Let's see, I still have not done my laundry I need for the trip, or packed. I won't get out of class until 9:30 tonight, and I leave the house at 6:30am tomorrow. It's gonna be a fun night.

No wonder vacations seem so relaxing. How could they not after all the stressing you have to go through to get there?
